DRDO Girls Scholarship 2022 - Get up to Rs 1,86,000 for pursuing UG & PG Courses

DRDO scholarship scheme is for female undergraduate and postgraduate students. Applications for the same have begun from 10 February 2022 and the application window will close on 31 March 2022.

The Ministry of Defence's Research and Development wing developed the DRDO scholarship scheme for female undergraduate and postgraduate students. Applications for the same have begun from 10 February 2022 and the application window will close on 31 March 2022. Online applications are accepted by the Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC).

DRDO Scholarship 2022 for Girls: Benefits

This is one of the best scholarships in the country! There are 30 scholarships available; 20 for undergraduates & 10 for postgraduates. Undergraduate students would earn up to Rs 1,20,000 per year in scholarships, while postgraduate students will receive Rs 1,86,000 per year.

DRDO Scholarship 2022 for Girls: Important dates

Application Starts from 10 February 2022.

The last date to apply is 31 March 2022.

DRDO Scholarship 2022 for Girls: Eligibility

Students in the first year of a BE/ME, BTech/M Tech, or BSc/MSc programme in aerospace engineering, aeronautical engineering, avionics, aircraft engineering, space engineering, or rocketry are eligible to apply.

 They must attend a government, autonomous, UGC, or AICTE-approved college.

Applicants must be Indian citizens.

A minimum of 60% in an undergraduate degree and a good GATE score are required for postgraduate candidates to apply.

Undergraduate applicants with a valid JEE main score must have been accepted in the first year.
